‘Another fashion brand making masks’ I hear you say. If you are already a TOBEFRANK shopper and follow our story you will see that as a brand our mission is to problem solve. We tackle problems such as fair pay, ethical sourcing, water consumption, fabric waste and chemical pollution just to name a few.
People are so important, and at the end of the day, nothing is ever worth another person’s mistreatment. As a brand, we are very focused on putting people first throughout our supply chain. As the brands founder, I am very passionate about this subject, these words you read below are mine, but as a brand they are mirrored.
In a country where water is unlimited, clean and affordable, its sometimes easy to take it for granted and not appreciate the value it has let alone acknowledge the necessity it is to our basic survival. It’s also hard to imagine with a world covered in water, that 22 million people on our planet this minute do not have clean water to drink.
We have plenty of water in this world of ours to quench the thirst of our population, however it tends to be in the wrong place. And as a residence in England, it seems to be always raining so it’s understandable for people in countries like England not to understand that for a lot of places in the world water is sacred and rain is a rare sight. With this in mind it seems strange that the countries where we make our clothes and farm our cotton, which needs so much water are the places in the world where water is desperately needed.
