OUR SUPPLY CHAIN.

ANY BRANDS SUPPLY CHAIN IS THE MOST PRECIOUS AND IMPORTANT PART OF THE BUSINESS.

For us, being sustainable is not just about the fabrics but about the people behind the clothing.

This page takes you on a journey on every aspect of the pieces we make. We show certifications and explain what we have done and even where we have fallen short. We show this, honestly, because this is how we grow and learn.

"THE FACTORIES AND MILLS WE WORK WITH ARE THE HEART BEAT AND LUNGS OF OUR BRAND"
Frankie Phillips

RECYCLING PLANT.

Every month on average the recycling plant we work with takes in 800 tonnes of fabric cutting waste from clothing production. To produce this 800 tonnes, it requires 160 million litres of water, 6 months of 24 hour farming and 1967 acers of land… that’s 5 times the size of London!

The fabric cuttings are whats left when the pieces are cut out of the fabric to make the clothing. Each piece can be planned so less waste is produced, however, due to quick turn arounds this detail is missed and huge about of fabric is wasted. We use this fabric (which has not even been touched by human hands) and turn it into new fabric. We also recycle our own waste, making sure we are zero waste.

THE SPINNING MILL.

This is where that fibre is turned into yarn. It's spun again and again until it's thin and strong enough to be woven or knitted into fabrics. Its at this point where mis mix the fibre. In our recent range we used recycled fibre and abandoned polyester fibre. This is spun together which makes the fibre stronger, and gets all at fibre off the mills hands.

THE FACTORY.

Our factory is brilliant, and we're not just talking about the amazing kebab they serve up when we visit. This place is a castle. Four floors with every machine and fancy equipment you can image. Everything is in-house, the embroidery machines, the sample room and the finishing and packing. Having everything in one place might sound simple but it would surprise you how many brands work with factories who out source different things so it is impossible to actually know where things are made.

We have a brilliant relationship with our factory, thanks to our epic Director/Fibre Engineer Mehmet based in Turkey. We are very lucky and thankful to have such a wonderful team.
